Dr. Amanda Flores Alexander was born and raised in Mcallen, Texas and attended Texas A&M University for both her undergraduate and veterinary education. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biomedical Sciences and Magna Cum Laude from the college of Veterinary Medicine.
She returned to the Valley after graduation and practiced in Harlingen Texas before moving to Laredo. While she enjoys all the aspects of veterinary medicine, her special interests include wound management and repair, emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.
In her free time, you’ll find Dr. Amanda Flores Alexander and her husband Dr. John Alexander enjoying the outdoors with their Aussie Reese Monkey and supporting their fighting Texas Aggies.
